Rihanna Launching Summer Makeup Line
. "When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind for something legit is MAC," Rihanna told WWD at the time. "Whatever color you want, it's like 'Let's go to MAC.' I've been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand." Her first product, a lipstick called RiRi Woo, was inspired by her favorite MAC red. It launched in May and coincided with her Diamonds Tour, where MAC opened a pop-up store for fans to preview her line. And it seemed to work the lipstick sold out online in three hours. Now, those who were unable to purchase her previous shade are in luck. Along with RiRi Woo, Rihanna is releasing two more matte lipstick shades: berry Heaux and violet RiRi Boy. Also added to the new collection, dubbed RiRi ♥ MAC Summer, are the Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush Duo and the Barbados Girl Lustre Drops. They will be sold exclusively online at MAC starting June 20. A recent lawsuit at a MAC store isn't slowing down the singer's shipment, either. It was reported last month that a Harlem woman is suing MAC after she says she contracted herpes from Rihanna's RiRi Woo, in the hopes of improving the retailers' sanitary practices. "This is going to happen over and over again if nothing is done," she said. Makeup isn't the only extracurricular Rihanna's been getting into lately. Last month, she debuted her summer clothing collection in a video. In her behind-the-scenes video, she explained why she created her second collection. The singer admitted that she wanted to create something to suit all her needs, from her sexy days to her "fat days." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
