There has been a new development with the Marc Mysterio and Flo Rida song 'Booty On The Floor' that we told you about last week. We now learn that the proceeds from the song will benefit the families affected by the terrorist bombings at the Boston Marathon.

The song will be released to Beatport today with the net proceeds from the sale of the track going to One Fund Boston, which was set up to benefit the victims and their families following the terror attack on April 15th.

"For me, 'Put Your Booty On The Floor' is a paraphrased way to say 'Call to action' and 'get in gear' which honors the first responders in Boston, as well as those whom acted on impulse to care for the wounded. By supporting them now, we are getting our collective booties 'On The Floor'" says Marc Mysterio, who was a Boston resident for many years.

"God Bless the families affected by the Boston Marathon Explosion, I'm praying for you all," Flo Rida said in a post to fans on his Twitter account.

Not only will the sales of the single benefit the charity but the new Youtube video, which features Bangkok-Based Viral Tutting Star Billy Chuchat, will also help in the effort.

The YouTube Video for 'Booty On The Floor' has been monetized and all revenue earned from views of it via YouTube will go to One Fund Boston, so viewers are encouraged to share the clip via their social media and tweet #bootyonthefloor with the link of the YouTube Video. Check the video out here.
