Metallica To Rock China For The Very First Time

(hennemusic) It's hard to imagine that there is a place in the world that Metallica hasn't played but there is at least one country on that list and the band will be scratching it off the list this summer.

Metallica will be performing in China for the very first time this summer. The band have announced a August 13th concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.

"It is so rare for us to be able to say that we are visiting a country for the very first time, so this is an extra special announcement for us," posted the band.

This weekend, Metallica host the 2013 edition of their Orion Music + More festival at Belle Isle in Detroit, MI. more on this story
