Full Black Sabbath Reunion Prevented By 'Silly Situation' With Bill Ward

(Classic Rock) Black Sabbath were powerless to avoid getting into a "silly situation" with Bill Ward, says Tony Iommi. The guitarist recently explained how he cut short negotiations over the drummer's participation in their reunion because he believed time was running out to record new album 13.

Now Iommi says: "It's been an on-off thing with Bill for many years with me. It was disappointing � we were all disappointed in it. It happened before with Heaven and Hell.

"We wanted Bill to come in, and Bill wanted to do it again; we got him in and he left again. We were used to it, really. It's a shame. It just got to a silly situation. It just didn't happen." more rock news.
