Newsted Stream New Song and Set Album Release

Former Metallica bass player Jason Newsted's new band Newsted have not only revealed the details for their full length debut but are also streaming a song from the new album online. Newsted's debut album will be entitled "Heavy Metal Music" and is set to be released on August 6th. The album followed the release of the band's "Metal EP." Fans can get a taste of what is come by streaming the album track "Heroic Dose," here. Apart from Jason, the band also features drummer Jesus Mendez Jr, guitarist Jessie Farnsworth, and Staind guitarist Mike Mushok. The group is currently on a tour of Europe and will be hitting the road this summer in North American as part of Megadeth's Gigantour which will be kicking off on July 3rd. 06/5 - Impact Festival - Warsaw, Poland
