Metallica Giving Away Download Of Star Spangled Banner Performance

(hennemusic) Metallica are offering fans a free download of their May 3rd performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at the first ever Metallica Night at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett played the US national anthem before the San Francisco Giants' home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Fans can download the performance for free here. As part of the evening's festivities, drummer Lars Ulrich also threw out the ceremonial first pitch � watch it here and check out video of the National Anthem performance here.
