Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson Kick Off Shock Therapy Tour
. Manson performed an abbreviated greatest hits set, featuring tracks like "The Dope Show," "The Beautiful People," and covers of "Personal Jesus" (Depeche Mode) and The Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)." Alice opened his headlining set through a curtain of fire before delivering one classic after another from his extensive catalog. For the night's encores, Cooper was joined by Robin Zander and Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick for "School's Out," and Manson himself returned to the stage for "I'm Eighteen." The trek also features openers Picture Me Broken, a band fronted by Layla Allman, the daughter of Gregg Allman.
