Newsted Streaming Entire New Album Online
. "Heavy Metal Music" is the follow up to Newsted's debut "Metal EP" and the band have posted a HD stream of the album on YouTube ahead of its August 6, 2013 release. Stream it here. Apart from Jason Newsted, the new band also features drummer Jesus Mendez Jr., guitarist Jessie Farnsworth, and Staind guitarist Mike Mushok. The band have been spending the summer on this year's Gigantour before being forced to sit out several dates after Jason came down with walking pneumonia. Here is what he had to say about it, "I'd been feeling a bit under the weather while performing the most recent Gigantour shows so I went to the doctor and I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia! So under doctor's orders, I'm taking a week to rebuild...my apologies to our Canadian brothers and sisters in regions where we will not be appearing this week. I'm gonna work on keeping me alive so together we can keep the metal alive!"
