TLC To Release New Music This Fall
. The as-yet-untitled compilation, due out October 15 on Epic Records, will feature new songs penned by Ne-Yo ("Meant To Be") and Lady Gaga, who wrote the song "Posh Life" with longtime TLC collaborator Dallas Austin. According to Billboard, the ladies also teased other possible collaborations with Drake and J. Cole, who recruited T-Boz and Chili for his song "Crooked Smile." "Not one artist has said no, and that's amazing and a blessing," T-Boz said about seeking out collaborators. "You know, we've been gone for a minute. But to see everyone coming to us like, 'Yo! We heard y'all working, I gotta be down!' That's amazing." The two women also announced that rapper Lil Mama would be filling in for the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who died in 2002, when they play the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday. The two asked the young rapper to join them after seeing her spot-on portrayal of Left Eye in the VH1 biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, which also stars Keke Palmer and Drew Sidora. But they were both quick to point out that though they are in talks with Lil Mama for upcoming performances, she is not officially a member of TLC. "No one will ever be a member in this group," T-Boz said. "Ever." More including the trailer to the VH1 movie. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
