Singled Out: Brand New Machine's Girls Like You
. "Girls Like You" was a no brainer to knock out. The mindset was to come up with a strip club anthem for a new generation. We wanted to pay homage to the hardest working women in show business, as well as give a big throwback nod to some of the classic rock legends like Mtley Cre and AC/DC. We recorded "Girls Like You" along with the rest of the record in North Hollywood with producer Ryan Greene (Alice Cooper, Megadeth, Cheap Trick). Ryan really did a killer job taking that two fisted, alcohol fueled attitude and capturing the seediness of a strip club on that track that makes you wanna get a penicillin shot after listening to it! The new album "The Devil Made Me Do It" hits stores and iTunes July 23rd on Epochal Artist Records/Capitol Music Group, so the first single was to be released at the beginning of the summer. "Girls Like You" just seemed to be the perfect choice. Rock radio has been very receptive, the response has been great, and having "Porsche" or "Candy" dancing to the track ain't too bad either. Check Brand New Machine out on Facebook or at www.brandnewmachine.net and we'll see you out on the road! Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the video right here!
