Yellow Submarine Remake Plan Sunk
. Zemeckis was originally planning to make the film with Disney but the studio pulled out in 2011 and while Zemeckis could have partnered with another studio he had reportedly decided not to. The directly told Total Film of "Yellow Submarine" that "it's probably better not to be remade", according to Noise11.com. Zemeckis directed and co-wrote the late 70s Beatles themed comedy "I Wanna Hold Your Hand."
