(hennemusic) Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington has been hospitalized, forcing the band to cancel this weekend's live shows.

The band posted the news: "Skynyrd Nation, regrettably, our shows at the Hard Rock Biloxi this weekend on 2/15 & 2/16 have been cancelled.

"Gary Rossington has been hospitalized in Wyoming with an abdominal infection. We are awaiting further tests and treatment, once we receive information on Gary's status we will release additional information. Thank you for your understanding & support." more on this story
