The Dead Weather Release New Song
. As previously reported, "Open Up (That's Enough)" b/w "Rough Detective" was first released on 7-inch as part of the latest installment of Third Man's Vault subscription series. This is reportedly part of a long-term (presumably years-long) rollout campaign for the band's new album. According to Consequence of Sound, Third Man Records states that"It's a unique long-term plan for new music from this incendiary group The goal is that physical copies are out there first." In an earlier press release, the label stated that these new songs "are unlike anything else the band has ever done and are both ample reminders of the ferocity of this motley collection of low-lifes, grifters and ne'er-do-wells."
