(Radio.com) Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O has released a new solo track, "The Moon Song," inspired by and written for the upcoming Spike Jonze movie, Her.

The gentle, acoustic tune is featured in the surreal movie's first trailer, starring Joaquin Phoenix as a divorcee who falls in love with a computer program, played by Scarlett Johansson.

"The Moon Song" has been posted to Soundcloud as a free download, though as Pitchfork points out, the downloads are limited to 10,000 before it kicks over to streaming only.

While Karen O provides "The Moon Song," the bulk of Her will be scored by the Arcade Fire. Both musical acts worked with Jonze on his last film, the 2009 adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are, with Arcade Fire recording an acoustic version of their 2005 single "Wake Up" for the trailer, while Karen O assembled an indie rock super-group (including Deerhunter singer Bradford Cox and fellow Yeah Yeah Yeahs member Nick Zinner) to compose a bulk of the movie's soundtrack. more on this story
