Timbaland Unveils New Michael Jackson Project
. In the clip, Timbaland said L.A. Reid approached him on the project saying he has "something big I want to do." While Timbaland didn't give away too many details, he did say that the first single will be "Chicago" and he's "going to set it up right." "Now it's my turn. Watch me go," he added. Though Timbaland admits he only talked with Jackson once on the phone, it is peculiar that he's so invested in this project as he called out Drake and Chris Brown for releasing posthumous Aaliya songs earlier this year. In a seperate interview with Revolt TV, he was outspoken about Drake and Brown's records, saying they "won't work." "In music, people always say, 'I'm going to do a song with Aaliyah.' It will never work," Timbaland said. "Chris Brown got a record, it won't work. Drake can go do a record with Aaliyah, it ain't gonna work." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
