Sub Pop posted the document on their Tumblr with the message, "Six hundred bucks well spent�not that we had it at the time." Yes, the contract reveals that at the time, the young Seattle label signed the band for a mere $600. It also states that Nirvana was signed for one year, with the option to re-up the contract for two more years, with the band agreeing to provide three albums for the label.
