American Idol Audition Bus Tour Hitting Knoxville Today
. The bus will stop in downtown Knoxville at Krutch Park and auditions will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. "We are excited American Idol chose Knoxville for the 2013 Audition Bus Tour," said Visit Knoxville President Kim Bumpas. "This is an incredible opportunity to showcase all the musical talent Knoxville and East Tennessee has to offer, as several past Idol contestants have come from our region. We are excited to work with American Idol and the City of Knoxville to make this event happen." The competition is open to hopeful singers ages 15 to 28 years old. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Two forms of ID (one with photograph) are required.
