(Gibson) Bruce Springsteen, welcome to Twitter. Sure, Springsteen has had a verified Twitter account for quite a while, but he hadn't personally tweeted anything until this week.

On Tuesday (Aug. 20), The Boss sent out his first bona fide tweet�a message to fans that will be seeing him and the E Street Band on their upcoming South American tour.

"Bruce here...looking forward to seeing friends in Chile, Argentina & Brazil on tour next month," he tweeted. "Any requests?"

The message had over 1,000 RTs and favorites within 24 hours, plus replies from fans suggesting a variety of Springsteen songs, from "Jungleland" to "Adam Raised a Cain" to "I'm on Fire." more on this story
