Beatles Promoter Sid Bernstein Dead at 95
. Bernstein was the first concert promoter to bring a rock show to Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden. As a promoter, he was behind some of the Beatles' most important bookings in America, including their concerts at Carnegie Hall in 1964 and Shea Stadium in 1965.
