Queen Musical 'We Will Rock You' North America Tour
. The musical comedy was written by British comedian Ben Elton (Mr. Bean) and centers around 24 of the band's biggest hits including "Another One Bites The Dust," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "We Are The Champions," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and (no surprise here) "We Will Rock You." The show also features characters, whose names are taken straight from Queen songs, including Galileo, Killer Queen and Scaramouche. The plotline involves bohemians from the future who are trying to save society from its own sameness, as well as its ban on art, which doesn't sound daunting at all. After a stateside touring production of We Will Rock You was scrapped in 2004, the show made its North American debut with a Las Vegas run from 2004 to 2005. We Will Rock You is produced in conjunction with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with Tribeca Theatrical Productions, which was co-founded by Robert DeNiro in 2001.
