The album beat out the competition to the top of the charts after selling 106,422 copies its first week of release according to numbers from SoundScan.

The band not only topped the charts here at home in American but also claimed the No. 1 spot in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

The band will be promoting the new album with a world tour that will kick off next week in Houston, Tx and will take the band across North America for a series of sold out shows in late April and May.

In June the band will head across the pond to launch a summer tour of Europe. That trek will begin on June 5th with an appearance at the Impact Festival in Warsaw.

Paramore will play a number of major music festivals in Europe as well as some stand alone dates before they launch a Latin America tour in July.
