Coldplay Release Crowdsourced Music Video
. The clip consists of video footage and still images provided by thousands of the band's fans, was compiled by Coldplay music video director Mat Whitecross. Among the Coldplay fans in the video are a smattering of celebrities, including actor Dominic Cooper and for a brief moment, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran (he can be seen holding a sign that reads "stop land grabs" at around the 1:58 mark of the video).
