New Beatles Auction Record Set

(Classic Rock) A signed copy of the Beatles' Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band's album has been sold at auction for $290,000, breaking a previous record.

The item, believed to have been autographed by the Fab Four soon after its released in 1967, was estimated to have been worth just $30,000.

The previous record for the band's memorabilia was $150,000 for a signed copy of 1964 release Meet The Beatles. More rock news.
