Lynyrd Skynyrd Interviewed on CNN
. Guitarists Gary Rossington and Rickey Medlocke, along with vocalist Johnny Van Zant, sat down with CNN's Fredricka Whitfield to discuss the evolution of the band's Southern image and their disassociation with the Confederate flag, as well as the new album. "The Dyin' breed part is because all southern rock and roll and musicians, there's only a few bands left nowadays from all that," says Rossington. "There used to be really a whole lot of them and it's kind of a dying breed because it's more pop stars and rap." Watch it here. hennemusic is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
