Eddie Van Halen Almost Died?
. Van Halen received emergency surgery for Diverticulitis, an inflammation and infection of the intestines, and the "insider" tells the National Enquirer that Van Halen intestines "exploded" causing doctors to battle to save his life, according to Radar Online. The reported insider claims that Van Halen's problems came after he swallowed a fad diet concoction and he suffered excruciating pain leading to him being rushed to the hospital reportedly "clinging to life". The identity and relation to Eddie Van Halen of the reported "insider" was not disclosed in the Radar Online report, but the issue of National Inquirer with the tabloid's report hit newsstands today.
