Robyn Plans Body Talk Club Nights While On Coldplay Tour
. Robyn and London-based DJ/producer Rokk will present a series of "Body Talk" club nights in London, Miami, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Robyn is no stranger to club nights - she co-ran the successful Tutti Frutti night in Stockholm and has guest DJed at her friend Rokk's London club night, "Body Talk," which inspired the title of her 2010 series of Body Talk albums. The trilogy received three Grammy nominations in the past two years. The pair felt they had something unique when collaborating on Rokks club night "Body Talk," so it seemed like a natural progression to take the concept on tour for the first time, starting in London at its original home, Dalston Superstore, on June 4 and ending with two nights at U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC (July 7 & 8). Spinning late 80's-early 90s house/pop hits and current dance music, their objective is to create a fun, unpretentious setting for like-minded people regardless of sexuality or race. Robyn has joined Coldplay on its six-date U.K. stadium tour, which is currently underway. She'll also open on 12 U.S. dates, beginning with a two-night stand at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX (June 22 & 23) and concluding with two shows at Verizon Center in Washington, DC (July 8 & 9). While in the States, Robyn will also perform at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX (June 21) and at Milwaukee Summerfest (July 1). 6/21 Austin, TX ACL Live at the Moody Theater Robyn headline show
