Adam Lambert Returning To American Idol

(popmusiclife) Adam Lambert's sophomore album, "Trespassing," is due May 15. Two days later, Lambert will be revisiting a place he knows very well.

"Exciting news!," Adam tweeted on Monday. "I will be returning to American Idol on May 17 to perform my new single "Never Close Our Eyes"!"

Lambert was the runner-up on season 8 of the reality series, placing just behind winner Kris Allen. On the season finale, Adam performed with both KISS and Queen, in addition to other material. more on this story
