The inspirational story of a headstrong, working-class genius and his psychologist took home two Academy Awards in 1997 - Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Robin Williams; Best Original Screenplay for co-stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck - and was nominated for seven others, including a Best Actor nod for Damon and a Best Supporting Actress nod for Minnie Driver. Launching the careers of Damon (The Bourne Identity, Ocean's Eleven) and Affleck (Shakespeare In Love, The Town), who co-wrote and starred in the film, the Blu-ray is loaded with special features including newly recorded retrospective interviews with cast and crew, a new interview with Damon looking back on his experience of making the film and much more.

Given "Two Big Thumbs Up" by Siskel & Ebert and hailed as "The Best Picture of the Year" by CBS-TV, the film also stars Stellan Skarsg�rd (The Avengers) and Casey Affleck (Ocean's Eleven) and was directed by Academy Award nominee Gus Van Sant (Best Achievement in Directing, Milk, 2008). - more on this story
