Katy Perry Previews New Movie With Wide Awake Clip

(popmusiclife) Ahead of the July 5th release of her new movie, "Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D," the pop singer has issued a preview of the video for "Wide Awake," a new song she wrote for the film.

Perry debuted the song on the Billboard Music Awards last month; it's the latest single from her "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection" album.

The 3D documentary was directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, both of whom served as producers on Justin Bieber's 2011 3D "Never Say Never," which grossed $73 million in the States alone. Watch the clip here.
