(Gibson) Filmmaker and director Spike Lee is heading up a special documentary on Michael Jackson that looks at the late musician's illustrious Bad album. The flick, which just entered post-production, arrives right around the 25th anniversary of Bad and the renowned world tour that followed it.

The film will feature interviews with everyone from Sheryl Crow to Kanye West to Cee Lo Green, as well as some of the King of Pop's close friends.

"I'm more than just a huge fan of Michael Jackson, and having the chance to actually know him and work with him, I deeply care about his legacy," Spike said in an official statement, adding that the stories enabled him to "uncover just what made this such a huge, important coming of age in [Jackson's] career and unearth compelling stories surrounding the making of the album... the short films and the tour that may have never seen the light of day." more on this story
