RIP NRBQ Drummer Tom Ardolino (A Top Story)

In a posting on their Facebook page, the band wrote, "Friends, we regret to inform you that Tom Ardolino passed away today. Tom will be missed but his spirit lives on through those who were touched by him."

Ardolino appeared on 15 albums with the band between 1974 and their hiatus in 2004, which was necessitated by keyboardist Terry Adams' treatment for throat cancer. The band reformed in 2011 but Ardolino was too ill to participate due to his health issues. - more on this story
