Green Day To Perform at 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

(Gibson) Green Day have signed on to perform at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. The show will air Sept. 6 with comedian Kevin Hart hosting.

According to MTV.com, the trio are planning to play fresh tracks from their upcoming trilogy of albums, �Uno!, �Dos! and �Tr�! on the show.

�Uno! is scheduled to hit stories and online outlets on Sept. 25, while �Dos! and �Tr�! are set for release on Nov. 13, and Jan. 15, respectively. more on this story
