(rock nyc) (PopCrush) Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg has been pimping the rap game for nearly two decades, so it makes since that he would play the biggest legend in the pimping world.

The rapper-actor has been tapped to play legendary blues guitarist-turned-pimp Fillmore Slim in a new biopic, reports AllHipHop.

The film, titled 'The Legend of Fillmore Slim,' is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to start filming in March. Filmmaker Hawthorne James will direct the movie penned by co-producer Alan Ames and Carole Parker. more on this story
