Slipknot Scored Best Debut in 25 Years

(hennemusic) Readers of UK rock magazine Metal Hammer have overwhelmingly named Slipknot's 1999 self-titled disc the Best Metal Debut in the past 25 years.

Over 16,000 fans participated in the special 25th Anniversary Poll, with Slipknot taking about a third of all votes � ahead of debuts from the likes of Guns N' Roses, Korn, Machine Head and Pantera.

Slipknot recently played the Rock In Rio festival, on a bill headlined by Metallica. more on this story
