Motorhead's Mikkey Dee Reflects on The Band's Best In Rio
. Motorhead have been touring all year in support of their latest album, "The World Is Yours," and they're not doneafter Rio, the band has shows booked to the end of 2011. Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee was interviewed after the Rio show, and shared his thoughts on the performance. "Well, we never played Rock In Rio," said Mikkey. "We played Rock In Rio in Madrid and Lisbon, but never in Rio. So, of course, we had pretty big expectations [about the] Brazilian crowd you know, they're very unique in the world. You guys in Brazil are very, very good. So, we had high hopes for the show tonight and I think we did alright, you knowno excuses. We did our best and, under the circumstances, we did ok."
