Cynics Forced To Change Their Name
. After receiving threats from Pittsburgh garage band The Cynics, the band decided to forego legal action and push forward. In an interview with The 1st Five, frontman Giles Bidder commented on the new moniker saying, "It has the same meaning as the original name did, which is about people who sit back and tell you that you can't do what you want to do whilst doing f**k all themselves."
