Phil Collen Remembers Late Def Leppard Bandmate Steve Clark
. Clark passed away on January 8, 1991, after a heavy drinking session while on leave from the band in order to gain control over his addiction issues. But Collen prefers to remember the positives. "It's hard to believe he's been gone for 20 years. My son Rory is 21 now; I can still remember Steve meeting him for the first time and the only time, for that matter when he was just one year old," he tells Music Radar. "Steve kind of rubbed Rory's little bald head and smiled. It was very sweet. It's a nice memory." more on this story RockNewsDesk.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
