Black Country Communion Giving Away New Song

. (Gibson) With the sophomore album by Black Country Communion, titled 2, set for release next month, the English-American supergroup have announced the release of their first single, "The Outsider." The track is available for free download here

The group features the talents of bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze, Black Sabbath), blues-rock guitarist (and Gibson signature artist) Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater).

"On 2, you can hear the band own their music, own their sound, and it is an astonishing musical group unlike any other and they are absolutely the kings of their genre," says producer Kevin Shirley. "I wanted to explore more of the Bonham sound and more importantly each member of the band gets a unique opportunity to shine, but it has the distinct sound that is BCC." more on this story
