Grammy Camp Going Bicoastal (Recap)

. On Tuesday Grammy Camp Going Bicoastal was a top story. Here is the recap: The Grammy Foundation sent over word that Grammy Camp will be held in both Los Angeles and New York in summer 2011.

Held for the past six years in Los Angeles, the program is expanding to the East Coast to reach a broader range of students. Applications are currently online at www.grammyintheschools.com and the deadline is March 31, 2011.

"I would encourage any U.S. high school student interested in exploring a career in the music industry � whether as a performer, a producer, a songwriter, a journalist, an engineer or a promoter � to apply to one or both of our Grammy Camps," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy and the Grammy Foundation. - more on this story
