Saxon Expand Charity Drive

(Rock News Desk) Saxon's new charity fundraising idea has been so successful they're extending the offer to more fans on their upcoming UK tour.

The band will play a dozen shows in April, and at all but one of them, fans have the opportunity to attend their afternoon soundcheck , in return for a �10 donation to Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy and Childline.

The original invitation was for 20 fans per show � but it's been so popular Saxon have now added more slots for each gig. Singer Biff Byford says: "If you're lucky enough to be allocated a apace, you turn up at the stage door at 4pm and you must put �10 cash into the charity box.
