Green Day Idiots Wanted

. (Gibson) Green Day have announced a new open casting call for a touring version of their Broadway hit, American Idiot. The auditions, held by Dancap Productions in various cities in America and Canada, began this past Saturday in Los Angeles.

Now, a Toronto audition has been added to the audition schedule. An ad on the musical's Facebook page says that the production is "seeking male and female rock singers early-late 20s for the upcoming national tour of American Idiot."

The Tony Award-winning American Idiot has been a hit on Broadway since it opened last April. The play includes such Green Day hits as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and "Wake Me Up When September Ends." more on this story
