The Big Four of Thrash To Play Six Shows in Europe

. (Gibson) The legends of thrash will be gracing Europe with an additional summer performance. Metallica.com has announced that the final date on The Big Four's European slate will take place July 3 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

It is the first Scandinavian appearance for The Big Four � Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 7 at 9 a.m. (local time).

For those keeping track, this marks the sixth Big Four date for 2011 and the fifth in Europe. more on this story
