(Gibson) Ringo Starr has announced dates for a tour of the U.K. with his All Star Band, including a return to his hometown of Liverpool to play the Empire. European dates are soon to follow.

"We're going from Spain to Russia," Starr said in a video message to fans on RingoStarr.com, "France and Germany. Denmark, even!"

Starr also announced he will play a concert in Hamburg, Germany, on his birthday, July 7.
