Metallica Extend Universal Deal

(hennemusic) Music Week reports Universal Music Publishing has extended its worldwide agreement with Metallica to cover the band's back catalogue and new material.

The publishing company first started representing the band in 1988, and the deal excludes North America and Japan.

"Metallica are one of the biggest selling bands of all time and have created a phenomenal body of work during the last three decades," said Universal Music Publishing President of Europe and UK Paul Connolly. more on this story
