(Gibson) It seems like Def Leppard are almost always on the road, which means guitarist Phil Collen has plenty of stories about some of the strange things that have happened on stage. He recently talked to Revolver magazine about such hi-jinks � some of which turned quite dangerous.

Collen recalled being hit with a women's stiletto shoe while performing in Portland, Oregon. He said that the women's "[expletive]-me pump" gave him a black eye and resulted in him having to have cataract surgery a couple of years later.

But a shoe is hardly the strangest thing that's landed on a Def Leppard stage. According to the guitarist the list includes, "ninja stars, scissors, a live cat" and certain items of a more sexual nature. more on this story
