Paul McCartney's Space Message
. McCartney played a clip of him and his band performing The Beatles classic "Good Day Sunshine" and then said, "Good morning, guys wake up! And good luck on this, your last mission. Well done!" It's far from the first time that the Fab Four's tunes have been beamed into outer space. "Good Day Sunshine" has been sent out three times, including once directly from a McCartney concert. Other songs, including "Birthday," "With a Little Help from My Friends" and "A Hard Day's Night" have also made their way off the planet. Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
