Judas Priest Opt For New Music Over Retirement

. (Gibson) Although Judas Priest announced that their 2011-12 Epitaph world tour would be the metal legends' final tour, it won't mark the end of the band. Actually, Judas Priest are working on a new album right now.

A message � "The guys are working together on writing new material � all is going really well" � was posted on the band's website.

Later, guitarist Glenn Tipton elaborated on his group's future plans in another post: "To put everyone's mind at rest, this is by no means the end of the band. In fact, we are presently writing new material, but we do intend this to be the last major world tour." more on this story
