. (hennemusic) Green Day's Broadway musical version of "American Idiot" is getting a makeover for one week next month.

Melissa Etheridge will be taking Billie Joe Armstrong's place as "St. Jimmy" in the show while the Green Day singer is off taking care of other business.

Armstrong had signed on to do 50 performances in the show, starting January 1 through to February 27, with some down time in that window. more on this story
