Paramore To Address Controversial Split Today
. "We really wanted the opportunity to show our fans that we're okay, you know? The three of us are still here, we're not going anywhere," said lead-singer Haley Williams. "A lot of kids are still asking if the band is breaking up, and that just goes to show how broken the communication online can be when rumors start traveling. So this [interview] is our way of showing that there's a future and we're stoked for it." The three remaining members go on to discuss head-on the lead-up to the Farro brothers exit, reaction to the Farro brothers' statement and what's next for the band. "Paramore: The Last Word" will feature in-depth analysis of the band's future, real-time discussion with their biggest fans and exclusive footage of the band, past and present. MTV News Rock Editor James Montgomery will be joined by MTV Newsroom Editor Kyle Anderson and Entertainment Weekly's Leah Greenblatt to watch, discuss, debate and contextualize MTV News' exclusive interview with Paramore in the wake of the Farro Brothers' sudden and contentious departure. In addition, the show will include fan reaction via UGC video, MTV.com comments, Twitter and Facebook.
