Def Leppard Summer Tour

. (Gibson) Def Leppard (and "special guest" Heart) will hit the road this summer for a major North American tour. Kicking off in West Palm Beach, Florida on June 15, the two powerhouse hit-makers are scheduled to perform 45 concerts in the U.S. and Canada.

Most shows will take place in amphitheaters though a number of arena shows are scheduled. The tour will conclude on September 15 in Auburn, Washington.

Def Leppard, one of only five bands to receive the prestigious "Double Diamond" award for having two albums sell in excess of 10 million copies each in the U.S. (Van Halen, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin), will headline the Download Festival in Donington, England on June 10th. more on this story
